The expanded role of principals requires leadership that can respond effectively to a volatile, complex and often unpredictable work environment. On any given day, principals address safety concerns, facilities issues and budget planning. They conduct clinical supervision, coach underperforming teachers, resolve conflicts with student behaviors, and respond to parent expectations. They strive to meet the diverse social, emotional and learning needs of students, foster innovation within their teams, and engage parents and community, all while ensuring compliance with educational mandates. This daunting set of responsibilities demands a high degree of resilience, mental clarity, and presence.
Master Urban Educators has partnered with Essential Resilience and Outlook EAP to offer a unique program designed to improve resilience and increase mental clarity and presence.
Below is a video introduction to the program with the facilitators:
Program cost: $1200 includes the training as well as two on-line individual coaching sessions and a group webinar to reinforce learning and answer questions.
