Robin began his career as a chemical engineer with Exxon in 1981(having received his education at Sheffield University in the UK), and eventually led one of Exxon’s international plastics businesses. He joined Arthur D. Little in 1992, first in Europe and ultimately in Boston, where he led and managed the North America Chemicals Practice.
With a colleague, he left the more classical consulting world and founded Insight Management Partners to bring an understanding of how the mind works into business. He then met Ken Manning, and they joined forces to create Insight Principles.
Robin was born in the UK to French parents and met his Belgian wife, Sabine, in Switzerland. They now live in Boston with their three soccer-crazed children. When time permits, Robin enjoys all things mechanical (cars, woodworking, home projects) and is an avid cinemaphile.

Faith is a resilience, resolve and learning specialist. What sets Faith’s services apart is the leading edge knowledge she has been studying and applying since 1997, Three Principles Psychology. The principles are Mind, Thought, Consciousness. This is the first psychological paradigm based on nature’s laws rather than a professional’s theory. Due to her depth of understanding of these internal principles, Faith’s tendency is to identify and treat the underlying source beyond what is commonly experienced.
Faith has licenses as a teacher, school psychologist and mental health counselor in Massachusetts. She completed her studies at Pennsylvania State University and University of Massachusetts Boston. The previous approach in which she specialized for 20 years is Applied Behavior Analysis. Applied Behavior Analysis focuses on resolving behavior, “the psychological outcome”. Three Principles knowledge resolves the origin of the behavior and feelings, Thought.
Due to transformations experienced with clients and students, Faith founded Reversing Hopelessness, Inc. in 2005. RH, Inc. is a not for profit dedicated to providing greater awareness of Mind, Thought, Consciousness in mental health, education and medicine, the missing link in higher levels of efficacy, reduction of dollars spent as well as reduction of provider’s and participator’s stress. Furthermore, due to the fundamental nature of this knowledge, a standard course in education, college and trainings is an essential shift occurring to resolve critical performance and social issues. We graciously welcome and accept financial and resource contributions to support these initiatives.
Ann Flagg, MSW, LICSW has experience working with adults to help them overcome their struggles with anxiety and depression in addition to issues such as family and parenting stress, school and work difficulties, unhappy relationships, loss of a loved one, and trauma.
She also works with children, ages 3 -13 who are experiencing difficulties at school and/or at home. Ann does individual, couples, family and play therapy (with younger children). I believe, given some gentle direction, people can harness their instinctual ability to decrease their own distress and live a more contented life.
Ken Manning, Ph.D. has been interested in finding simple solutions to help people be at their best for as long as he can remember. He pursued three degrees in psychology from Brown University, Lesley College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He practiced as a clinical psychologist for 20 years.
In parallel to his career in psychology, Ken also has a strong background in business, including roles in various start-ups as national sales manager, director of marketing, and advisory board member. He co-founded with his son-in-law, a successful software development company, which he still leads.
In 1999 he began innovating ways to bring insight principles into the corporate world and joined with partner Robin Charbit to form their company Insight Principles.
Ken has been married for 30 years, has two stepdaughters, a son and five grandchildren. He plays the piano, loves the outdoors and all kinds of sports and exercise, travel, photography, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.
Barbara Sarah Smith, MSW is a licensed clinical social worker in Westport, MA. After over 30 years of practice she had become disillusioned and burned out with the medicalization of “mental health”. She and a colleague formed an integrative practice in which the focus was on care of the mind, body and spirit. However, despite that transition in her practice, there was still something missing. In 2015 she was introduced to the 3 Principles which has transformed her life and her practice. She now teaches her clients about their innate mental health and spiritual wellbeing and is seeing remarkable transformations.
One of Barbara’s particular interest areas is teaching the inside out understanding to those struggling with addictions or chronic illness. When people see the truth about the source of their moment to moment experience, they find that they are able to stand resiliently present to their lives- no matter what the circumstances.
Barbara teaches individuals, couples, and families. She runs regular 3 Principles classes in New Bedford, MA and is also available for 4 day intensives and retreats.
Barbara lives on the coast in southeast Massachusetts and spends as much time as possible in nature, in her garden, and on the waters near and far with her partner Ed, a retired sea captain.
